The Chinese Government has reviewed and validated our business model and technologies, officially endorsing it as an effective solution for improving the financial and copyright landscape of China’s digital media and creative industries. We have received all licenses to create, produce, distribute and broadcast digital media (music, video, TV, film, etc.) on the Internet and mobile networks, as well as all performance permits for live concert streaming.

As a result, Leyi has been awarded development and management rights to the National China Music Industry Park–Shanghai (CMIP, 国家音乐产业基地-上海), a major national Chinese government initiative to improve and support the music, entertainment and creative industries in China. This includes rights to develop major commercial sites that include performance venues, retail, IT, education and business infrastructure. All domestic and international companies participating in the Industry Park qualify for government grants, tax reduction programs, and many other business resources.

Ley’s Chinese company President holds the Vice Chair positions on China’s three policy-making committees in the music and entertainment industries. The China Audio Video Copyright Association (CAVCA, 中国音像著作权集体管理协会) reviewed the platform technology and intends to use it in China’s new Collection Society.

The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT, 国家新闻出版广电总局), which censors and approves all digital media, has expressed their interesting in using Cugate’s technology to manage and monitor all digital content in China.
